Terms and Conditions are as follows.
1. The interested national/international consulting firm should have cutting- edge knowledge and understanding of special economic zones (SEZ’S) planning, design, development, operation; overall management and legal context under which SEZs operate.
2. The interested national/international consulting firm should have a minimum experience of Ten (10) years of SEZ development in an international setting.
3. The sealed envelope (or electronic version) containing detailed technical proposal should be superscribed as “EOI for GSEZ Development” and should reach Gada Special Economic Zone Authority (GSEZA) before the scheduled date (10 working days from date of announcement) and time of Eel submission (05:00 PM local time) at the address stated below.
4. BOI received beyond the scheduled date and time shall not be entertained.
5. The consulting firm has to strictly follow the laws, directives, guidelines, regulations, and others, as deemed necessary, in Oromia National Regional Sate, in Ethiopia, and other International Standards..
6. The interested international consulting firm should provide multilingual staff (preferably English /Afan Oromo/Amharic.
7. Only consulting firms that have scored 80% or more in this EOI shall be empaneled and allowed to submit their offer in response to request for proposal (RFP).
8. GSEZA maintains the right to cancel this EOI and/or amend the Terms and Conditions of this EOI at any point of time. There will not be any financial implication toward GSEZA for submission of this EOI.
9. Respondents are required to identify and disclose any actual or potential Conflict of Interest.
10. Respondents are solely obligated to pay for any costs, which may be incurred by bidder or any third parties, in connection with the Response. All responses and supporting documentation shall become the property of GSEZ, subject to claims of confidentiality in respect of the response and supporting documentation, which have been clearly marked confidential by the bidder
11. Duty station of the Consulting firm shall be Finfine/Addis Ababa with frequent travel to GSEZ Head Quarter in Adama city. Below is the address for requesting the original EOI document and submitting the response to the EOI
